We are currently working on a wide variety of projects across Glasgow including:
Dance School of Scotland
City Property is providing property management advice on the procurement of a new permanent residential facility for the Dance School of Scotland. This facility will deliver a number of benefits to the Council, parents, students and community.
We have acquired and refurbished a number of residential properties citywide. These are let on a commercial basis, with some of the flats currently let to Social Work Services.
The properties are separate from the commercial investment portfolio and following a competitive procurement exercise; a contract was awarded to Edzell Property to manage these on our behalf.
City Property is the landlord and owner of the Tontine building and in partnership with the Council and City Building (Glasgow) LLP was responsible for the delivery of the refurbished west side of the building now occupied by Glasgow 2014 Ltd.
Rebranded as Commonwealth House, we currently provide a property management service via Rydens LLP who manage the day-to-day running, maintenance and care of the accommodation to assist Glasgow 2014 Ltd to project a professional image to visitors, staff and customers alike.
City Property has been involved in a number of significant projects throughout Glasgow including:
City Property was responsible for the negotiations on adjustment to the lease at Exchange House, benefiting the Council through a substantial Capital Receipt of £4m and ultimate ownership of the property.
