Community Asset Transfer to Annexe Communities Complete

City Property Glasgow (Investments) LLP (CPGI) is pleased to announce the completed sale of 9a Stewartville Street to Annexe Communities, a registered charity which has been serving the community of Partick and surrounding areas for 39 years.

Transfer of ownership of the property will enable Annexe Communities, established in 1987, to continue with their mission to promote health, wellbeing and social inclusion for individuals who face barriers to participation in society.

The organisation delivers a wide range of community-based services and activities designed to reduce isolation, improve mental and physical health and empower individuals through engagement, support and skill-building, alongside a community café which provides an informal and space for connection. Whilst The Annexe is open and inclusive to all ages; targeted support is also provided for those facing challenges such as social isolation, financial hardship and long-term health conditions.

Securing ownership of the building represents a significant and positive step forward for Annexe Communities by providing long-term stability and reassurance to the local community by strengthening the ability to plan sustainably, respond to emerging challenges and expand opportunities that improve health and wellbeing across the area.
