Kiltwalk Success For City Property Team

6 May, 2026

A team of 5 City Property staff and their canine companions took on the challenge of the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 25th April, to raise funds for loneliness and animal charity, Give A Dog A Bone.

The ‘Paw-sitive Walkers’, made up of staff from finance, support services and valuation and disposals teams joined together for The Big Stroll, successfully completing the 14.6 mile walk from Clydebank to Balloch in aid of City Property’s Charity of the Year.

Organised through City Property’s Health and Wellbeing Forum, participation in Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event was the final staff fundraising activity of the year, raising £1355 and contributing to a total of £1705 raised across the previous 12 months.  The funds raised will help to tackle loneliness by supporting the over 60s to afford a rescue pet companion.

Commenting on the challenge, Suzanne Pettigrew, Chair of the Health and Wellbeing Forum said:

“Our forum organises regular health and wellbeing events for staff whilst raising funds for our charity of the year, as voted for by City Property staff.  We’re thrilled with the amount raised for Give A Dog A Bone and we’d like to thank everyone who has donated to this worthy cause over the last year “

Natasha Gordon, Senior HR Officer added:

“City Property is committed to ensuring that the culture of the business reflects an inclusive and welcoming place to work and the activities organised by our Health and Wellbeing Forum are one of the ways that we aim to do this.

“The Paw-sitive Walkers team had a fantastic day taking part in the Kiltwalk and I’m pleased to say we didn’t suffer from too many blisters!  The funds raised will go a long way to help tackle loneliness in the over 60s as well as animal rehoming”
