New Letting at 50 Albion Street

20 Oct, 2025

City Property Glasgow (Investments) LLP (CPGI) is pleased to confirm the recent letting of 50 Albion Street to board game café and store, The Merchants’ Guild.

Operated by Session Zero, the venue is open to anyone interested in tabletop gaming; with the team behind it bringing their experience in hospitality and gaming to create a welcoming and inclusive meeting place. The concept by Glasgow-based Quinn Westwater and David McGuire, has already seen a positive reaction from the local community, with events running every night of the week and plans to expand the offer further, including partnerships with other small independent businesses.

Commenting on the opening, Quinn Westwater of Session Zero said:

“We’re blown away by our community’s response to the new venue, and are thankful to everyone who has dropped by in support. We’re a small team of independents working with other local businesses to build something great, for the community, by the community. A huge thanks to City Property for their professionalism and fast turnaround in getting us open, it was a long year of hunting for the right venue, and we finally found the perfect one. We’re shaping up and improving every single day, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for years to come!”

Richard Watson, Property and Contracts Manager for CPGI added:

“We’re delighted to welcome The Merchants’ Guild by Session Zero to 50 Albion Street. Our tenant’s recent occupation provides a fantastic addition to the area and has already received positive feedback from the community, with an offer that appeals to a wide range of customers. We wish the team at Session Zero every success in their new venue”
