Glasgow Wholesale Markets

Opened in 1969, Scotland’s major fresh produce market operates from a 32-acre site at junction 14 on the M8. The 50 tenant companies supply fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and flowers to a large number of independent retailers, caterers, restaurants, hotels and processors throughout Central and West Scotland. Click here for detailed market tenant directory.

Over 2 million tons of produce from around the world goes through the market each year, equating to an annual turnover of £250M and 1,000 vehicle movements per day.

The site generates 400 full-time jobs and consists of 74 fruit & veg single stances and 6 stances within Scotland’s only inland fish market.

Currently 70% occupied, there are a number of 2,640 ft2 single stances available to lease on flexible terms. To make an enquiry or search for available stances, please visit our for lease section.
